Scope

The Holy Club Qiraat and Naat Seerat Chair at UAF is dedicated to fostering a deep spiritual connection and understanding of Islamic teachings through Quranic recitation (Qiraat) and poetic devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) (Naat). The club aims to promote spiritual growth by encouraging regular recitations and sessions that inspire personal and collective devotion. It provides a platform for artistic and literary excellence, offering opportunities for members to showcase their talents through competitions, exhibitions, and performances.

The club enhances religious and cultural knowledge by organizing educational programs, workshops, and seminars on Quranic verses, the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and Islamic traditions. It facilitates intellectual enrichment through discussions and lectures by esteemed scholars. Additionally, the club strengthens community bonds by creating a supportive environment where members can connect and grow together, fostering unity and mutual respect through collaborative activities and cultural events.

Preservation and promotion of Islamic cultural heritage are central to the club’s objectives, including documenting notable recitations and poetry and organizing outreach programs to appreciate Qiraat and Naat. It also emphasizes personal development and leadership by encouraging members to develop leadership skills through event organization and active participation. The club promotes interfaith and cross-cultural understanding through dialogues and collaborations with other organizations, as well as supporting philanthropic and humanitarian efforts through charity events and community service. Seminars featuring distinguished speakers on Qiraat, Naat, and Seerah address contemporary issues and provide practical Islamic guidance, ensuring interactive engagement with experts.
